Village Style Fish Curry

  1. Heat 5 tsp of coconut oil; add finely chopped garlic, green chillies, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste saute well.

  2. Add 1 cup of onion slices saute well & cook till becomes translucent, add chopped tomato, salt & cook for 5 min or till tomatos become soft.
  3. Take red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, coconut oil mix well & pour into the cooking pan, stir well.
  4. Now add 1/2 cup of tamarind juice, 2 cups of water bring to boil it.
  5. Add cleaned mackerel fish, cook for 10-15 min on medium flame. Add 1 tsp of cumin-methi seeds powder, garam masala, coriander powder & cook for 5 more min.
  6. Finally sprinkle coriander leaves & dish out the curry.
