In a bowl take rice (1cup) and moong dal (1/2cup), wash it nicely. Fry the rice and dal together in a pan with out oil.
Take the rice and dal in a pressure cooker; to this add milk (2cups), water (2cups), ghee (1cup), and pinch of salt and close the pressure. Cook this for 3-5 whistles or until soft like pudding.
Heat another pan; add brown sugar (jaggery) (1cup) and water (1/2cup), when it melts transfer this to the cooking rice and stir well.
Now add the condensed milk (1/2cup), cardamom powder (1/2sp), roasted dry fruits (cashew nuts, almond and kiss miss) and ghee (2sp). Cock the sweet pongal for five more minutes until it becomes semi gravy.
Transfer the sweet pongal in to a serving plate and serve.
