Simple Chicken Curry

 

Ingredients
  • 2 no. Onions chopped
  • 1 tbsp Ginger and garlic paste
  • 2 no. Tomatoes chopped
  • 5 tsp Oil
  • 1 pinch Shahi jeera
  • 3 no. Biryani leafs
  • 3 no. Cloves
  • 1 no. cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 k.g. Chicken
  • 2 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • Salt for taste
  • 3 pinch garam masala
  • 3 pinch coriander powder
Instructions
  1. Take 2 onions, chop them & transfer into a blender, add chopped garlic & ginger and grind them. Keep the paste in a bowl.

  2. Take 2 tomatoes, chop them & transfer into the blender and grind them. Keep the tomato paste a side.
  3. Heat 4-5 tsp of oil in a pan; add shahi jeera, biryani leaf, cloves, cardamom, onion paste saute well.

  4. Now add turmeric powder saute well & cook for about 5 min with out closing the lid, so that the raw taste of onion removed.

  5. To this add cleaned chicken stir well & cook for about 5 min. Now add required salt, red chilli powder stir well & cook for 10 min.
  6. Now add tomato paste stir thoroughly & cook for about 10 min. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala stir well and cook for 5 more min.

  7. Finally add coriander leaves and switch off the stove. Serve the hot chicken curry with rice or roti.
