Making of Chamadumpa fry – Aarbi (Colocasia) fry

  • 1/4 k.g Chamadumpalu
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Jeera powder
  • 1 tsp Dhania powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilipowder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric (huldi)
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Roasted ground nut powder
  • 1 tbsp Dry coconut powder
  • 1/2 cup Cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
  1. Roast the cashew nuts in pan and take them into a bowl.

  2. Half boil the Chamadumpalu/Colocasia ( Aarbi ) and drain it. Let it cool down.

  3. Remove the skin of chamadumpalu, cut them in thick round shape like chips

  4. Heat the oil in a pan and add boiled champadumpalu, Turmeric, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, jeera powder, dhania powder, and saute it for 5min.

  5. Then add roasted groundnut powder and coconut powder, mix well. Saute it for 5 more minutes.

  6. Add cashew nuts and coriander leaves.
