Fish Curry


Cleaned fish slices: ½ Kg

Ginger Garlic paste: 2 tablespoons

Tamarind: 50gms

Chilly powder: 1 ½ spoons

Curry Leaves: 10-15 leaves

Salt: to taste

Garam Masala: 2 spoons

Turmeric: ¼ spoon

Green Chilies: 4

Onion: 4

Coriander leaves: sufficient

Oil: 5 tablespoons

Method of Preparation:

  • Soak Tamarind in sufficient water for 15 min and keep it aside.
  • Keep a pan add 5tbsp of oil heat it add curry leaves and green chillies and finely chopped onions, add Ginger Garlic paste, turmeric fry until it turns to golden color.
  • Add chillipowder and salt.
  • Now add the fish slices. Mix thoroughly.
  • Pour the tamarind juice place the lid allow it cook well
  • Add garam masala and jera-dhaniya (coriander) powder.
  • Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
