Dhaba Style Chicken Curry

  1. Take cleaned chicken in a bowl, add ginger garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, lemon juice, coriander powder, pepper powder mix thoroughly and marinate this for 2 hr.

  2. Heat 2 tsp of ghee, 3 tsp of oil in a pan; add whole garam masala spices (clove, crushed cardamom, cinnamon, shahi jeera, biryani leaves, dry red chilli) and saute well.
  3. Now add chopped onion stir well and cook for 5 min. Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste saute it.
  4. To this add red chilli powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, salt stir well and add tomato pulp, curd & cook for 2-3 min.

  5. Now add marinated chicken and cook for about 15-20 min. To this add crushed kasuri methi, garam masala cook for 5 more min.
  6. Finally garnish with coriander leaves, onion slices & lemon and serve with roti, naan or rice.
