Chukkakura Pappu

  1. Take a pressure cooker, transfer cleaned dal, add sufficient water, pinch of turmeric powder, finely chopped chukkakura & 2-3 green chilli and mix well. 

  2. Then close the lid of pressure cooker & allow to come 2-3 vesicles.
  3. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan; add mastured seeds, cumin seeds, chopped garlic & saute for 1 min.
  4. Now add dry red chilli, curry leaves, turmeric powder, hing saute for 1 more min.
  5. Pour the cooked dal mixture into the pan adjust salt & water cook for 5 min on medium flame.

  6. Now chukkakura pappu is ready to serve. Serve it with rice or roti.
