Bread upma

  • 5 no's Bread slices
  • 1 no's Sliced tomato
  • 2 no's Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Crushed ginger
  • 1 pinch Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Sambar powder
  • 4 tsp Ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds & Bengal Gram
  1. Cut the bread slices into small pieces.

  2. Heat the ghee in a pan, fry the bread slices and remove from the pan.

  3. Heat the remaining ghee and add mustard seeds & bengal gram, chopped onions, green chilies, crushed ginger, and fry them for some time.

  4. After 3min add tomato slices, turmeric, sambar powder, salt and mix it well.

  5. Let the tomatoes boiled for some times then add bread pieces. Mix them well and cook for 2min.

  6. Serve with sauce or pickle.
