Bagalabumpa Ulli Karam Fry

Method of Preparation:

  • In a pressure cooker take aloo (250g) cut them into 4 pieces. Add water to them and boil. Peel the skin and cut into medium sized pieces and transfer the aloo into a bowl.
  • In a mixy jar, take chopped onion (1/4 cup), red chily powder (3sp), salt (1sp) and turmeric (1/2sp) grind this to make paste and transfer this into a bowl.
  • Heat oil (3sp) in pan; add curry leaves (2sp), jeera (1sp), mustered (1sp), aloo pieces fry for 2-3min. now add the prepared chilly and onion paste. Fry this for 5 more min.
  • Add dhania powder (1/2sp) and sprinkle the coriander leaves.
  • Serve the bagalabumpa ulli karam fry with steamed rice or chapathi.
